have you ever been left for someone else?

I feel like my ex just dumped me for someone else. I don't know for sure. He said there wasn't anyone but cut me off and hasn't reached out and it was pretty sudden. How long did it take you to heal? Were you able to find better after? Even though I don't know for sure my self esteem has plummeted. Tell me there's hope for better out there! I wanna hear how you all recovered!
