My fiancé isn't being the dad I want him to be...

We are going on three years and we have a 7 month old. But he doesn't put much effort into interacting with her. She's not a fan of him either lol she is if she's in my arms lol but when I tell him to watch her really quick he just watches tv and don't try to bond with her or anything. It's not what I expected from him. Am I overthinking things?
