Need input please!

My husband and I considering naming our second boy the same name as my sisters ex boyfriend (they dated for 6years or so). They broke up last year, he was really close with our family for years. The name is unique and not very common. My sister is opposed to it and doesn't want to be reminded of her ex through the name of her newest nephew. She has brought up this concern with me. Should I drop the name?
