10 day period??

I gave birth December 2016 and started getting my period again in February. This month I got my period at the beginning of the month and then all of a sudden I got it again June 18th and I'm on my 10th day of bleeding. Is this normal? I don't have any pain of discomfort but once the 7th day hit I had a mix of old brown blood and pink blood on and off every day. I'm on the pill and had started my placebo pill this past Sunday.
