My kids Grandma, my MIL, keeps making snarky comments about not seeing her grandkids and begging me to bring them to her work. I've asked her on multiple occasions to come out and do things with us or go to dinner and she always responds with "maybe" and then doesn't answer her phone the day of the event. Two weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to go somewhere with us and she pulled the maybe card and didn't show up but the next day she drove over an hour away to take her boyfriends grandkid to the zoo. So you can drive an hour away to see someone else's family but not 10-15 minutes to see your own? And I'm the bad person keeping you from them? You would think that if she truly wanted to see them that she would put in some sort of effort especially since we are moving out of state in less that two months! Baby is almost 14 months old and the only effort she's put in was showing up to the birthday party. Every other time she's seen her I've had to go out of my way to make it happen. Sorry for the rant but I'm just so tired of this crap 😔
