I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant. My OB's coordinator had me sign a contract saying the hospital they partner with doesn't offer water births. I was kinda considering water to help with the contractions. Not necessarily birthing... But they won't offer the tubs even. Should I consider going to a hospital further away (15-20 more miles away) or just suck it up and stay closer to home? If I do choose a hospital further away, I have to change OBs correct? I do not plan on a birth out of a hospital as I have a pre-existing spinal cord disorder and could be considered high-risk.
