Kids can be so mean!!!!!

Apparently one of his friends the other day told him he was fat. My brother already won't swim without a shirt, says he's full and barely eats, and then binge snacks because he is so hungry. My parents and I and my DH are trying to gently help him - I should point out, we do not see issue with his size, we are helping PURELY for his self-esteem, because he seems so sad and is being unhealthily restricting food because he is self conscious. We don't want him to starve himself, we want him to love his body and be comfortable. 

Well my mom called me at work to ask if my DH and I would take my brother for the weekend, introduce him to healthy foods and fun outdoor activities like hiking and swimming in the river and getting some "brother times with my DH since he went through a similar thing even just recently. 

My heart is absolutely broken to know my baby feels this way. I feel like someone has stabbed me in the heart! I feel like my brother, my happy joyful baby brother, has died and was replaced with a sad, starving child who is lost and doesn't know his way. Oh if I could only reverse time and prevent that other little boy from saying that to my brother. Heaven help me if I was there the mama bear in me would've turned into a mama monster in his defense. Why are children so mean! Don't their parents teach them to be kind?! If you don't have anything good or kind or constructive to say, hold your tongue! My heart is aching knowing my little brother cries, hides his body and won't eat. Please pray we have a breakthrough with him this weekend. I don't care what he looks like, I just want my happy baby brother back 💔💔💔
