I'm a first time mom to be, and I want to know some of the things you ladies recommend buying / having that were life savers for you or just things you remember really working for you

Beyond a place to sleep, and food supplies, and some diapering/clothing, nothing is truly essential. That being said, i am SO glad to have a wrap to babywear. I recommend some sort of carrier. My baby would not be put down until this week (she's 8 weeks) at all. Including daytime naps. Wearing her is the only way I've been remotely functional!

Nose frida, activity gym (I recommend the kick and play from Fisher price), & a bouncer.

Noise machine, muslin blankets, and halo bassinet. Basically how I surivied the first few weeks/months. A bath support or tub is extremely helpful as well. I was so nervous about baths. If you're planning on nursing stock up on pads for leaking and storage bags.

- receiving blankets!! Its summer time, so its hot, but the AC can get cold. Theyre great light blankies. Theyre also great for using as changing table covers, nursing covers, burp cloths, etc.

If you plan to breast feed or pump the nuk freemie is a life saver. A swing to put him in is amazing he'll fall asleep with his pack when he's fighting it.
