Is it safe that I do most of my labor at home?

I want an all natural labor and delivery. However we have no birthing centers where I'm from, just a hospital. So relaxation techniques are limited. Nature is my favorite place to relax so I thought maybe I could walk around my yard and get in my pool but listen to my body and go to the hospital when things get rowdy. Haha. Opinions and information are well appreciated!
