When porn effects a couple's sex life negatively then yes. Like if they choose masterbating to porn over sex their partner, if they can't get aroused by anything except porn, if they have high expectations for their partner to do things or look a certain way like people in porn, if it causes a person to over sexualize random people in real life, etc. Those things do happen and it does hurt the relationship.

No. My boyfriend watches it from time to time and we have a great relationship. He enjoys sexual pleasure and when I was pregnant, we weren't able to have sex for the safety of the baby. If you think I was going to be giving him blow jobs, you're crazy. So he did his thing with the porn and we lived happily ever after.
