Recurring UTI/Bladder Infections
**Lots of TMI** sorry....
I want to start out by saying in my 21 years of growing up with female parts I have never experienced any issues until about 3 months ago when this guy I was seeing & I got intimate, and I let him go down on me.. he was down there for a decent bit of time and then we proceeded to finish the act... no lubes or condoms were used.. Then about a week later I find myself having to go to the bathroom a lot but not getting any relief/nothing is really happening... I didn't know what was going on at first so I kind of ignored it... then it started to hurt.... so off to the clinic I go, and they make me pee in a cup, test it then and there, tell me I had a bladder infection, gave me a choice between two antibiotics and then sent me on my way. I take the twice a day for 3 days pills because they were 'stronger' - no problem, and all is back to normal. Flash forward a month, some sexual activity and some new partners happen, and I start feeling the same symptoms... I figure "ohkay, I know what this is..." and I go back to the same clinic I went to before, but I get a different doctor this time and it's a slightly different procedure... I wasn't given a choice of medication, I was given the twice a day for 5 days antibiotics, and asked to do a urine sample again but was told it would be 3 to 5 business days before I would get results.. I went in on a FRIDAY... *to this day I have not been called about the results* and it's been just under another month now. I am starting to feel symptoms again, I have only ONCE been sexually active between the last bladder infection/UTI and was VERY clean about it (we did it IN the shower) and I am starting to worry that something more serious could be going on down there, I need to schedule for a pap test but I have no clue how to even begin with that, I dob't live ib my honetown where my famit doctor is located which is why I have been going to clinics... I'm just hoping someone can offer me some kind of advice/insight, anything, on what I should do or what might be wrong? :/ I'm just really stressed and kind of lost right now...
