Almost 8 month old ready for milk??

I think he is ready for more! I plan on still breastfeeding morning and night but I think my supply is dropping due to pregnancy (11w preggo) I've been doing some research on starting milk (open to all kinds) just wondering if anyone one has introduced it yet or thinking about it ? My Dr office is closed today but I plan on asking him first thing tomorrow! LO eats great, i haven't found a food he doesn't like I'll ad a pic just cause he's the sweetest plum thief ever  😍

They need breastmilk or formula until a year unless a doctor tells you otherwise

No cows milk until a year. It can really mess up their stomach. Just supplement formula

Haven't heard of anyone introducing this early. Did ped say anything about it? Mine refuses powder formula, and every kind of formula except Similac Sensitive Ready Made. It tastes okay to me, like a vanilla milk! The consistency is different than powder which is I think what she likes. It kills me that I'm paying for water, and it gets expensive, but my baby eats. There's just SO much in there (vitamins and such) that they still need. I plan to keep using until 1 or ped gives the go ahead to switch 😃

Just read your troubles with introducing formula. You could look into making a homemade formula with goats milk. Check out the Weston a price foundation website or its in the book nourishing traditions book of baby and childcare. Also, what ratio did you start with? Maybe try mostly breastmilk with a tsp of formula and go from there?

I know they typically don't eat enough nutrients from food and it  isn't as easily digested which is why it's suggested you wait till 1. Is supplementing with formula not any option
