Am I going to lose weight?
Okay so I've posted a few topics along these lines and have found commenters to be extremely helpful and I really appreciate that! Last week I said enough is enough. I'm 148 (scale says 145 now but who knows) 5'3" and I have a 4 month old LO. I wanna lose this weight so bad I am excited about it! My whole life I've basically eaten whatever whenever I want. I downloaded mynetdiary and am tracking what I'm eating (I've never done this before in my life.) First couple days, I cheated. I was over on calories, but now! I am a few under [= I am allowed 1460 calories a day plus whatever I burn. I am trying to do 15 mins on elliptical (at least) a day, and then a walk too. I also dance around and jump around to make LO happy, and clean the house and try to stay active. So the app says at the rate I'm going I will lose the weight in 102 more days. That's awesome to me but how true is it? I have literally changed my whole mindset about eating and exsersizing. I'm just looking for encouragement I suppose. Also what are some high protein foods low carbs? The past couple days I've bee under on calories but over on carbs, will that affect weight loss? I want I succeed, I want to love my body. This is all SO new to me, I can't explain. When I enter in what I eat, and measure everything, and think of what I was eating two weeks ago.. I mean I was easily taking in double or more calories and not being active. I admit I will cry if I don't see a change at all in a few months. Looking forward to hearing some replies.
