Cars?

HELLO!!! So im starting to save money to buy my first car, but I'm not sure what kind I want to get. So far, as far as looks are concerned, i like the 2015 Chevy Escalade, and a lot of GMC pickup trucks. Basically im a fan of big ass cars. I was wondering if anyone knows of any great cars with good safety ratings. I also need something that gets good gas mileage. I know that large cars arent always practical for that reason. Anyway, im either going to buy used, OR buy a really old beat up car for a few hundred bucks and fix it myself. Just looking for reccomendations!
