Does your husband/SO surprise you often?

So I always try to surprise my husband like for His birthday last year we saw the blue men group and this year we are going to see the red Sox, then just the little bring him home a coffee etc. so I find these Jeff Dunham tickets and I told him and he told me to get 3 (one for his best friend) and he said its a surprise for him. But he never surprises me, and I said I never get surprises and he says Noah (our unborn son, I'm 24 weeks pregnant) and I literally got so angry I'm crying at work. Is it normal for guys to not think about surprising their wife???? Maybe I'm just extra emotional today.

My husband never does, even when it's my bday or holiday he takes me shopping instead of surprising me w a.gift...they just aren't thoughtful and creative as us lol

I'm right there with you. I do things for my man all the time and never get anything back. I have to ask and it pisses me off. He didn't even get me anything for my birthday eventhough he asked what I wanted and I gave him a handful of options. The day came and went and nothing. Not even a mention of a gift. But then he'll go off and buy himself something. I've talked to him about it and he just assumes sex will fix it. Like yay you ate me out for 10min when I give you head on the regular longer that that. Smh. It's a thing of we want them to want to do it without having to say it and ask for it, obviously. When we ask it takes away the specialness and we basically just pleased ourselves, like usual.

My husband NEVER surprises me unless it's really something for him, like going camping...not as fun being pregnant or going fishing...also not my type of fun. He never seems to show me the same kind of love that I show him and I have just come to terms with how lacking he is in that dept. wish he was more thoughtful, but I am so tired of being disappointed.

My fiancé never surprises me Haha. I am always doing that stuff. I'm always getting tickets to things for him or grabbing him his favorite candy bar at the store because I thought of him. Giving such thoughtful gifts or remembering things he's been wanting and getting it for him. He's the total opposite. I basically have to tell him what I want for holidays and stuff because he doesn't remember shit I say I want throughout the year. He never surprises me with flowers or tickets to my favorite band. But the thing is it isn't about that. We are both just different when it comes to showing our love. I think it's definitely more of a woman thing as well to be the planner and or together these extravagant things for our men and our men just quite frankly don't put much thought into any of it lol. It definitely probably doesn't help that your pregnant and hormonal either. Id just try to brush it off. Unfortunately men and woman sometimes play totally different roles when it comes to certain things.

I feel that depends on the type of personality they have! For me I LOVE giving gifts and surprising people I love! For my hubby he shows love differently- he likes to stay close to me and say how he feels.

My SO surprises me, but not with anything glamorous. I like simple things, chocolates, flowers, maybe some geeky keychain or something small that reminded me of him. Or even just the occasional "I miss & love you" texts throughout the day while I'm at work. Sometimes he writes me letters in my notebook, on my computer, on my giant whiteboard or just write a note and slip it into my book or purse.
I probably wouldn't like anything big, especially now that we're expecting 💕
But those little things he does throughout the days always catches me off guard and makes me so happy 💕💕 
Now, he doesn't do this stuff every day or even every other day. It only happens every now and then. I don't think you're being over emotional, it's understandable to want what you give. Maybe try to tell him just how much it means to you & what kind of surprises you'd like.
