Life with a toddler

So, I fed my daughter some strawberries and a banana for breakfast. She's 16 months old, so is at the age that she gets into everything. I was in the living room straightening up, when I heard the trash can close. I just thought it was my husband throwing something away, so I didn't think on it.

Then my daughter walks into the living room with the banana peel in hand, heading straight to her mouth. I say NO! and jump up from the floor to go get it from her. She got startled, threw the banana peel at me and it hit me in the middle of my forehead. She turns and runs away.

Life with a toddler...never boring. 😑 I guess I'll go change the trash THEN pick up the rest of the house. 😂
