pierced ears
I know this is controversial so I just want personal experiences-
My in laws want my daughters ears pierced, my family says it's something for a little girl to decide and look forward to.
I got mine done around 9, and I do remember it although I don't remember it being that exciting. I remember it escalating from there though, I wanted my cartilage pierced and then my belly button and then my nose and on and on. I've since taken all my piercings out other than ears- but was it making a big deal of getting my ears pierced at 9 that lead me to want/be excited about all other piercings in general, or was it simply peer pressure/what was cool?
