Hey my dad said the same thing to my Sister and I growing up. I knew I was always bi sexual but I knew if I ever expressed that he would have a hard time with it. Well as he got older now he is more accepting of others, and he's not as anti gay as he used to be. I still have not told him because although I consider myself bisexual i haven't actually dated a woman...I've only been with men. So for me it wasn't something I felt he needed to know. If I were to date a girl then I would feel the need to tell him, it would only be right. My advice to you is live your life, have fun. Eventually he will come around it might take time but you don't necessarily need to tell him unless you want to :)

Yeah right now I'm trying to figure out if I'm bi or a lesbian My parents are both incredibly homophobic and Biphobic so I know coming out would be awful. So I know the feeling (sort of) it's just hilarious the amount of times I've almost outed myself because I couldn't restrain myself from making a gay joke 😂😂😂 but my plan is to wait until I'm in college and then just yell "I'm hella gayyyyy" as I drive off.

tell him. if he can't accept it he's not a real parent. mom's and dad's need to stick my the side of their child no matter what sex they are attracted to. if he disown you for being who you are then so be it, you can live a happier life with people who do care and love you rather than a judgmental father. do you know how many men and women are Bi sexual..... way to many to count, we are here for you and if you need some advice please ask. best thing I ever did was tell my mom I'm bi because it lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. I felt so much better that it was out in the open and I didn't care who didn't like it because I am who I am just like you are who you are. don't accept anyone's negative judgment. Be who you are and be happy with the choices you make in life.

Is he a Christian? The biggest argument I use against them is some Bible verse about NOT rejecting your children. I'd have to use a lot of googling to figure out what it is, but you could use that. Also you could just not tell him until you aren't dependent on him (if you currently are) and then tell him. Most parents will come around eventually. My dad did and it caused a lot of depression and it ended in self harm so please be careful...but it all worked out because self harm stoped and now im moving in with my dad.
