pain during sex

so i just started having sex recently and every time i've tried it's been excruciatingly painful. it's gotten to the point where i don't want to do anything remotely intimate with my boyfriend. i know that there are medical conditions that make sex excruciatingly painful but i don't know much about them. could someone give me some info? (i will be going to a doctor soon btw)

ALSO: for more information, i am aware i have a tilted pelvis and i had an IUD for a month back in january and had to have it removed. when i first had it done it was discomforting but not painful, same for when i got it checked out but when i got it removed i was almost in tears.

(i got the IUD because i have very bad periods where i'm cramping and nauseous the weeks before, during, and after my period. on my period the pain and nausea becomes so bad my vagina aches.)

I WILL BE GOING TO A DOCTOR SOON I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE OR KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.
