Why is control line lighter than the positive line🤔🤔

Hi.... I recently found out I was pregnant 4 days ago... My last "period" was 5/25... However it was not a regular period for me... So when I first tested I used dollar tree test... N my lines were super dark... Both... Then I took 2 different test each day after that and the control lines were lighter than the test line.... The test line was a BOLD positive... So I'm wondering could I be further than I think? I have 2 kids... And have peed on a lot of sticks.... N I always get a faint positive... One thing I should mention is with both of my kids... I've bled first couple of months of both of my pregnancy as if I was on my period... Which they always considered a threatened miscarriage
