Is anyone with Gestational Diabetes having a C section?

I was told because my gestational diabetes isn't controlled that it makes sence to have a C section... Has anyone else been told this

Don't let them talk crap to you!! They just wanna push for c sections all the time it's so annoying!

Unless you or your baby are in danger of a vaginal birth being  medically unsafe (baby to large) then diabetes does not mean a c section.

I have gestational diabetes which is not under control even though I'm on insulin 2x daily and 3x 500mg metformin a day a c section is not even on the table unless baby is over 10lbs and even then only if doc thought my pelvic was to small.

Fight for your vaginal birth and tell them to show you some proof of where it says it's the best thing for a GD mum. Sorry these docs who push for c sections really annoy me it's unnecessary and not needed.

I have GD and I'm being induced in 4 days. She never mentioned a c-section. Is it because your baby is weighing a lot? They only checked my babys weight once st 34 weeks and she was 5lbs so idk how big she is now 😭
