Migraines

I have had chronic migraines for the last few years and just recently went off of all forms of birth control. I just had my first cycle off of birth control and 3 days in I got the worst migraine of my life! I'm just wondering if this is coincidence or if this is what I am to expect with cycles from now on or if I should be concerned. I was on DepoProvera for many years before getting a Mirena and didn't really have true cycles while on either of those so it has been many years and my migraines have developed in just the last couple of years.
