Conversations about feminism

Hello, to be honest I just want to hear women talk about this. Do you think Feminism has changed over time?

Note: I will put my opinion below. I'm not hear to bash on this topic. I just feel like we as women should talk about this in a proper manner listen to both side politely.

Also sorry if there's any errors in my writing, I'm young and suck at typing.

My opinion:

I believe it has changed over time to be honest. When I was young, the word feminism meant to me as people who think men and women are equal, but now, 2017, the word feminism has changed. I know that there are women who treat feminism as a meaning of men and women should be equal or anyone should be equal, but there are some that have changed the meaning completely. I believe that everyone should be treated equal, but if someone asked if I was a feminist, I would say no. Today I would say some feminist had made the word "Feminist" into women who think men are equal and shutting out anyone who disagrees ( I will call this 3rd wave feminism ). To some, they would think my opinion is wrong and you have every right to believe in wrong.

I'm a minor, junior, and I live in a state that leans to the left, and I myself leans more to the right. So in my experience I find it very hard to talk to my friends or anyone who is a girl that is very much a 3rd wave feminism. I'm scared to disagree because I'm afraid there going to think I'm a racist who doesn't believe in equality. And in my opinion, minors have a very small voice in the political world today. Some people think we are stupid kids who are stuck to our phone all day, but we see everything, were voices who are can't be taken seriously because we're young, but we see both side clearly.

In the end of my opinion I kinda just rambled on something that wasn't part of the topic. But I kept it in because it's important to me.
