I'm new in a relationship and this guy just seems too chill for me? Like I'm the type to atleast send a good morning or goodnight text just to check in and he just never seems to message me first. A relationship is based on conversation isn't it girls?? Or am I being to concerned 😂

My boyfriend has always been bad a texting. Ever since I first met him. He's gotten better at being attentive, but still lags in responding. We live long distance so I just call him when I have a lot to tell him. Although in person, we enjoy every second of each other's presence. Not everyone lives by their phone. It's ok to not talk to them every day and every waking minute. Sometimes people just need a day to themselves. Patience is a huge key in relationships that people tend to forget about.

My boyfriend has never really texted me. Like ever. Near the beginning, he texted a bit more since I was overseas for a couple weeks and calling wasn't an option. But generally he calls. Always has. He really only texts me when one of us is travelling or to relay a quick piece of information. He's always either called or seen me in person. Even now when we're LDR and have been for years- he just doesn't text. I honesty like it that way. It's so much nicer getting an actual phone call or being together in person. Plus constant texting is just annoying in my opinion- it just gets in the way of everyday life.
