Bulimia, Depression, and Prozac

Hey guys. I've struggled with bulimia and depression since around the age of 15/16 (I'm now 21). Since the age of 19 I've been on a handful of meds for depression, but they haven't worked well or for too long. I recently went to a psychiatrist and he thought putting me on Prozac would be the best choice. He said it's used a lot to treat depression, but has also been shown by the FDA to help with bulimia. I just wanted to know if anyone has used it for either problem, how did you feel on it, and are there any nasty side effects?
