Will united healthcare cover skyla?

I'm 17 trying to get my first iud ( doctor recommended skyla) i have united healthcare and was wondering if anyone else's iud was cover with united healthcare.   I've never had to worry about insurance stuff before.

Call the number on your card and ask them. I have Medicaid and it covered mirena 100%

I have UnitedHealth care and I also have skyla. They covered it for me. Double check with your insurance though.

Call and ask but find out if it's covered under your medical also since it's a physician admitted form of birth control because regular pills are pharmaceutical. If you go on the website they will tell you what to ask and give you the j code and the cpt code for insurance. Everyone's insurance is different even if it's the same company.
