Advice on bringing on your period without seeing the doctor?
Hi all, we are TTC and it's become difficult due to my lack of periods. I've always been irregular, but ever since November I have only had ONE actual period and a few times of just spotting (for a few days-weeks). I went to my OB in May and do have another appt in September. Her conclusion was that I had stopped ovulating due to weight gain and she wanted me to lose 10 lbs by September. Since my appt I am down 18 and counting. I have went on a low carb/sugar diet to aid in weight loss and have become more active. My one actual period started 3 days after my appt with her (May 27th) and I have not had one since. I will have days where I'm cramping and boobs hurt, but no bleeding. I've also had times with my regular ovulation symptoms, but it seems even having sex then is not resulting in BFP. So my question is, while I'm in limbo waiting for my next appt is there anything I can do naturally start/regulate my period? I am so frustrated :( She was sure the weight loss would help, but I'm currently like CD50? Somewhere around there. I have tried vitex before and did not have any results.
