No judgements, peeps. I'm just curious to know how many people are in an open relationship. I'm also curious to read your responses. If you're in one I wanna read your stories, if not, have you considered it? Or are you the jealous type?

I'm not and I don't think I ever could be. I know an open relationship is difference to a polygamous one, but I've always thought it'd be so useful to be into polygamy. I love the idea of an orderly little division of labor where you have like the cooking guy, the cleaning lady, the gardening guy, the finances handling lady etc. Or the next level up where it's a BDSM poly relationship and I've got myself a harem of full time slaves who bring me sandwiches cut into little triangles on demand. Sorry got a bit off topic there. Open relationships need a metric fuckton of trust to work though is my opinion on the matter. Oh and self-confidence. I trust the shit out of my husband but I'd always be sitting around wondering if the other girls give better head or have nicer butt holes than me or something.

I've been in one and the understanding that you can love your partner while being attracted to and seeking out others really helped keep jealousy at bay. It's all about open communication and honesty

I feel like i could never be in one because i would just always feel like I'm not good enough for my so. Plus it would just be very one-sided because I'm asexual/demiromantic and i don't really do that lol plus my current bf is very possessive of me

It's perfectly normal to want to sleep with other people, if you open yourself up to this it eliminates cheating, which ends most monogamous relationships. You're also able to love more than one person at a time, just like how we love multiple family members.🙂

me and my SO are the jelly type. like if we are gonna go out and I look really nice before we go he fucks the shit out of me kinda as a reminder I guess that I'm his. I do the same when he looks really fucking good. only I tell him he is mine give him head till he nuts than fuck him. (kinda why we get ready 3 hrs before so we have time just in case) and we tell each other if we felt uncomfortable with how close one of us was with someone else. we also have an open phone policy and traid phones through the day just cause why not. And if we know someone had a crush on the other before we don't talk to that person any more. only cause we have felt with people who genuinely tried to ruin us to get the other. "guy friend liked me I didn't believe it till the day he invited me and my SO to something at dif times (me first) then nigga got my boob and kissed me when my SO walked in. I punched him so fucking hard and did a perfect T shaped kick it was obvious to my SO what happened.(anyone who knows me knows you don't fucking touch me and not get hurt )

I am single. But, my preference would be an open relationship because it won't hurt when you find out they are dealing with someone else. The infidelity and lies hurt more when you are in a monogamous relationship.
