Help?

So this might be tmi, but I recently started using the Lily Cup Compact because I figured a smaller cup would be good to start out with. I love it so far, but my problem is putting it in. I guess I have a very small vaginal opening and so putting in the cup makes me tear. Even having sex makes me tear and I don't know how to fix that or at least make it less painful. I've been stuck wearing pads because tampons irritate me (I think I might be allergic to them). Any ideas or tips?
