My baby girls bilirubin levels are continuously going up. We are at home now under a UV biliblanket and then tomorrow is day 4 of my baby having to get stuck for blood. If the level goes up about 4 more numbers, we have to be put in the hospital for a more aggressive therapy. Some people will probably just think I'm overreacting, but it breaks my heart. Any other moms with jaundiced baby's that had to have aggressive therapy? FTM so everything upsets me a little right now.

UPDATE:

Got her levels retested today and they have gone from 15.9 down to 13.1 in less than 24 hours thanks to the biliblanket. Plus she's eating more and having more diaper changes so I am so thankful! No hospital stay for this! We use the biliblanket until Saturday morning then go get retested. Doctor is giving us a break tomorrow so we can finally have a full day home, thank goodness! If it's came down even more when we test, we are done with the blanket! So hopefully one more stick and she won't have to be tested again or stuck for a little while..
