Like seriously

I know everyone has different view points on this but yesterday I was in Harris Teeter minding my own business and I heard someone just screaming personally thought it was two adults having a fight but only hearing one. I turned the corner and realized it was a mom screaming at her maybe one year old for chewing on a bag of goldfish she was buying and that mommy was tired of it she was just done with the child.

While I know that it's her child I felt horrible this child is young and probably teething and they were in the store a good hour. Am I crazy to think at this age she was kind of out of line even if it's her child?
