Should my lo be eating more ?

So my son is 4 mo and weighs around 17 lbs. hes eating 4 oz every 1-2 hours it's hard bc when I need to go out for errands I don't have that long due to the fact he's eating every 1-2 hours. I once gave him 5 oz but he spit up a lot. I know every baby is different but how are you ladies doing with your feeding schedule ? Btw he's formula fed

At that age mine was doing 8 oz every 4 hours. Some babies like to snack all day and some like big meals. Try doing a little more every so often and see what happens, you never know when they'll decide a change is good.

Breast milk or formula? I leave 4oz bottles of breast milk for my baby and a "top off bottle" that a ounce can be taken out at a time if she wants more. She eats 4-5oz every 2-3 hours. (She's 5 months now but that was her eating habits at 3-4 months)

17 lbs at 4 months sounds like he's eating more than enough!

My baby is 4 months and drinks a 5 oz bottle of breastmilk and is satisfied. On the breast she pulls herself away when she's done. As long as they seem satisfied then they're getting enough but once my baby was going an hour and 30 between feedings I started rice cereal for her 7 pm feeding.
