checking cervix

I got off nexplanon on June 5th to try for baby #3. (we have 2 boys and are hoping for a girl BUT will be happy either way)... so.. my question is.. or statment/question.. I haven't had a period yet and I've been checking my cervix daily for a week.. well today my cervix is low, medium/soft, and open... what does that mean??? earlier in the week it was high and I could not reach it.. and with my other 2 pregnancies (before hand) I never had low, medium soft, and open.. it's always been either (low/closed/hard) (medium/closed/medium) and high couldn't tell lol
