Did I just have a miscarriage ?

So I found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 on Tuesday!!!
Well everything was fine with me in the days between Tuesday and until today I had the nausea and normal pregnancy symptoms.. but this morning around 11 am I went to the bathroom and I was spotting light red blood I told my husband and we went to the ER stayed there for hours !!!! They took blood work they did an ultrasound but the baby was to small to find on that they checked me down there and once she did I started to bleed a lot they said it may look like a early miscarriage but to follow up with my doc on Monday .. if anything got worse we'll now that I'm home I'm bleeding ALOT of blood cloths and it's a very heavy flow .. I'm thinking it's a miscarriage but I'm not sure why they didn't tell me is it ladies 😭😭😭 ?? Plz if u had one before give me ur advice this is all so new to me this never happened with my first child and I'm emotional right now thx ladies .. btw should I tell my fam what me and my husband are going thru we didn't announce I was pregnant yet only his sister knew and we told her the news what's going on today

Definitely sounds like a miscarriage. Unfortunately there's nothing they can do for you. If it is, you'll need to go in in a few days to make sure you've passed everything and don't need a D&C.; Sorry Hun 😞

I just had an early miscarriage about a week ago. I was about five weeks. For about two days my cm had a tint of light brown as if it was mixed with a little old blood and then on the third day it was a full blown very heavy flow with very small clots.  It was heartbreaking because we'd been trying so hard but It happens more often then people realize. I'm sorry you're going through this.

This happened to me between weeks 5 and 6. It was a chemical. I was traveling and wasn't able to see my doctor. It was basically just a very heavy period, accompanied with some cramping. I had lost all pregnancy symptoms (sore boobs and utter exhaustion) within a few days. My doctor had me proceed with a blood test just to be sure it was actually a miscarriage and according to my HCG levels, that was the case. After further investigation, this is pretty common for first time pregnancies. My doctor said to wait until the next cycle before TTC again. And that's where we are at now! My next period came about six weeks after my chemical. So sorry for what you're going through. Just because it's early, doesn't mean it's easy. We didn't tell my family and I'm glad we didn't. This was a time that brought my husband and me closer together.

They didn't tell you because your levels could have been fine and I had light red blood when I had a UTI
