do you take your baby to baby classes?

We only have one car and my husband needs to drive to work. Is my baby missing out on something great by not going to these baby classes? I feel like a terrible mom not letting her socialize but I can't do anything about it. 2 of my friends are on mat leave and go to classes together since their babies were 4 months old. My baby is 7.5 months old.

Not at all! I feel like at this age they're mostly for adults to socialize. The only thing mine has learned is how to touch 'gentle'. I mean yes, she has become very social as well. She does love her baby classes but definitely not missing out on anything major IMO 😃

I really want to, but more for myself than anything...I'm sure my little girl will love playing around, but I really want to meet moms in my area so that my daughter and I will both have friends as she gets older. Also, I will be starting swim lessons because we live in between a river and a lake, so she needs to learn to swim for safety purposes. You're not bad at all though...it's nice to get out and do things, but totally unnecessary at this point!

You're not missing anything besides a bunch of clap along songs and stories that no one can hear over the baby noises. I use them for adult socialization because I don't have many friends, especially mom friends. Your baby isn't missing anything. Just try to get her around other kids/babies (cousins?) maybe once a month. Some libraries have baby storytime on the weekends for free! We also have done baby yoga, and we spend an appropriate amount of time with out families.
