sleeping troubles

I am a first time mom of a six day old. My baby girl refuses to sleep in her bassinet at night, the only place I can get her to fall asleep is in my arms after breast feeding for a while, then I go to put her in her bassinet and she will stir awake again. I've found myself beginning to sleep with her in my arms, it's the only way I can get her to fall asleep and for me to get a bit of rest. during the day she's an angel, at night, she cries and needs to be held and comfort feeds off of me all night. I feel guilty knowing she should be sleeping alone, on her back, on a flat surface, but what's a mother to do when the baby won't sleep the way it is recommended? Not to mention I am exclusively breast feeding so I am guaranteed to be awake every 1 to 3 hours. I'm exhausted and filled with guilt over needing to co sleep to get any rest 😢 has anyone else has troubles like this? any advice??? 😓😓😴
