Early bleeding

Jazmyn

If you read my last post you'll see what saved my ass during the first trimester when it came to nausea and vomiting. But this post is about my hospital visit to the er when I was 10 weeks. I woke up and there was brown blood on my panties. I know that means it's old blood so I didn't worry much. I passed it off as implantation bleeding but I was 10 weeks, I should have passed the implantation bleeding stage. I just threw on a panty liner and decided to keep an eye on it. I went to class(I'm a senior in college) and I was having really bad cramps and was still bleeding. I called my mom and she said that I sounded like I wasn't in any pain so I shouldn't worry bout it. I told my fiancé and he said if by the end of the day I was still bleeding he would take me to the hospital. By the time I got out of class at 10 pm I was still bleeding and still had cramps. It wasn't red blood though, just brown. And it wasn't a lot. Throughout the whole day I probably went through like 3 panty liners. We went to the hospital and they did an internal and abdominal ultrasound. Turned out that I was in the middle of an early Miss carriage. They called it a sub chronic hematoma. They said there was nothing they could do. That it's a waiting game. I was out on bed rest and after about 2 days the bleeding had stopped. I went back to the dr when the bleeding stopped and they said baby looked fine that sometimes it just happens. It was pretty scary but we got through it. I was told to take it easy for another week still. So ladies if you have any bleeding please don't hesitate, go to your dr or the er.
