For any struggling mommas!

Cheyenne • Momma to 1 girl & 1 boy! 💗💙

(I posted this in two groups bc I really want to reach out) I think some moms try to always put on a brave face, and try to pretend that everything about motherhood is happiness. It's not. Sometimes it's really hard to get through the day.

Don't get me wrong, it's the most amazing thing in the world, but you will get exhausted. You'll cry. Some moms suffer with postpartum anxiety and/or depression (such as me). You may sometimes be afraid of your baby, feeling they're a bomb you need to defuse before they explode. Sometimes, baby is screaming and you feel overwhelmed. It's okay to step outside for a minute and take a breather. You are not a bad mom for feeling stressed. You are not a bad mom for crying while feeding your baby. You are not a bad mom for not changing out of your pajamas today. Raising a child is not easy. It's really a life long commitment, and I applaud all of you mothers. We are strong. We are lovely. Don't feel bad because some moms are out doing mommy and me photoshoots and getting their hair done and makeup is always done and baby always looks perfect while you struggled to shower today. All moms are good moms and I'm so proud of all of you.
