We painted it yellow with plans of doing a jungle theme for a boy and a garden theme for a girl. My husband's friend gave us an old broken dresser that my husband fixed and is currently painting. We were given a rocking chair and a set of newborn cloth diapers by another friend. I'm a planner. So if I have all of my plans in mind I can seize opportunities for free items to prepare as cheaply as possible. The way I see it, if things don't end up happening for us then we won't be out a lot of money and we can even try to sell some things if we decide to stop trying.
