TTC #2 I am looking for a cycle buddy!

My name is Nena. I just got married May 13 and went off my BC at the end of May. I believe I am on my second cycle. I am a school teacher and am hoping for a Spring baby. AF came on July 21 but my cycles have been short because of getting off my BCP. I just bought my opk and a bbt, but I haven't began using them until my week of being fertile. I'm afraid I'll miss it because my cycles have been about 23-27 days. Any advice from a cycle buddy! I'd love to say hello to you.
