Drained.

Rachel

To say this is long is probably an understatement, so sorry in advance!!

My daughter is our second child, 8.5 months old. (Should be noted our son never had any of these issues, but had worse issues up until this point in his life)

Ok here goes! LO loves being swaddled. Ok fine....but she's almost 9 months old. We also co-slept with her thinking it would be easy to transition when we were ready like our son did (oh how naive of me). I can't get her to sleep in anything other then my bed....with me. Meaning when it's night time I HAVE to go to bed with her or she won't. She takes naps fine during the day, still swaddled and in her bassinet where she can't roll, but NOT AT NIGHT. We have tried everything to get her to sleep without me. Well, except taking her out of our room. We have a 2 bedroom right now and the other room has her 3 year old brother and I fear they will just keep each other up crying. I can't get her to sleep unswaddled either, will be buying a zipadeezip soon to try that out I am used as a pacifier and she wont take one of those. So here I am, stuck in my bed, being the only one/thing that gets her to sleep. I can't move in my bed because it wakes her up and constantly being sucked on is starting to get old. I'm not opposed to the cry it out method, but with her it doesn't work. She will cry/scream like a mine banshee and doesn't stop. Yes I know people don't agree with co sleeping. Blah blah blah. It worked great up until recently when it was time to make the switch. She is SO dependent on me, so much so she won't even eat ANY solids. Nothing I have offered will she eat.

I am so tired of being tired. I get, if I am lucky 4 hours of broken up sleep a night. How do I break this vicious cycle I am in.
