Why do you get acrylic nails?

I'm sorry but do guys even notice nails??? If someone is trying to impress a guy I'd recommend to use something other than nails lmao. My nails are for myself. I enjoy getting them done, it's like a stress reliever. And I love the sound they make on tables, desks, when they hit each other, etc. I also have my hands in my pictures a lot so it bugs me if they're chipped 😬

I have a horrible nail biting habit and have bit through everything so acrylics are kinda my only way to try to break the habit

I don't get acrylics I do my nails with the plastic glue-ons from Walmart and I do them to get compliments from random girls out in public. I love the reaction I get when I say I did them myself!

Because I like them. Doesn't have to do with my confidence or trying to look good for some guy who most likely won't even see my damn nails.

Lol. I don't know a single guy that would be like "oh shit she's a keeper, look at them nails" lol...I think women get their nails done to feel good about themselves and look nice same as make up

The only way I would get acrylics would be if my nails did not grow.  
Acrylic is horrible for your nails.
