10 month old won't eat regular food

My son is 10.5 months old and he doesn't have any interest in regular food like Mac and cheese, peas, pasta, etc. He will eat the lil crunchies but those pretty much dissolve in his mouth. He will be 11 months old soon and I have been trying to get him to eat stuff other than baby food and yogurt. Anyone else have this problem? I feel like I'm the only one! He only has 2 teeth so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or not but if I feed him pasta or anything like that he will gag and sometimes throw it up. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get him more interested in regular food and off baby food? Thank you in advance!
