What The hell happened to us HELP

I took my bf to a nature trail and he got these red bumps on his arm out of the blue. Next day he had them all over his body. The next night he took me to dinner with his parents (he and i do not sleep together). He dropped me off at my house and we kissed and hugged goodbye and he left. I was itchy last night but i didnt think anything of it. Woke up and now i have them!!! all over and so itchy. Not poison ivy. Can anyone tell me what this is or how to get rid of it? I live in East Tennessee!
