Why do women always complain?

I figured since my first post was deleted mistakenly I would just go ahead and rewrite my topic since it does adhere  by the community guidelines
So I guess my question is why do women Kongregate year to complain about their significant others? if you are not happy with your significant other why do you not leave him? so many people come to one spot to complain about their boyfriends baby daddy or husbands.
 my significant other treats me wonderfully and I do my best to not say anything against him. I have a hard time believing that its always the mans fault in the woman has nothing to do with the issue at hand. why can't we ever write something positive about the man we are with?

My SO won't be here much longer, he is dying..and maybe this is why I have such a hard time understanding how women can complain and bitch about someone they love so much. I cherish every moment I have with my significant other. He could die today or he could die 10 years from now but the point is is he will die way before his time and we before my heart can handle it. so maybe y'all should try being a little more thankful for the man you spend your life with instead of always pointing out flaws. Cuz if you hate hin so much why  don't you leave him?

I personally like to vent about things to strangers to avoid influencing people's opinion of my husband. If I complain to my friends about him, I feel like that's all they see. No one is perfect and regardless of circumstances or faults, sometimes it's nice to have an outlet. I love my husband, flaws and all. And sometimes my irritation with him is my own fault because I lack patience. I'm still going to complain about it, because sometimes that just makes me feel better. I feel like doing my complaining to people whose opinions don't affect him, instead of to our friends and family, is respectful to him, and he deserves that.

You can vent about someone without hating them. Sometimes you just need to get it off your chest. There's nothing wrong with that. I am sorry for what the two of you are going through and I agree that a life with someone you love is something to be cherished. But having disagreements or needing an opinion. Or just wanting to vent doesn't mean a person isn't cherishing their life with their SO. It also doesn't mean they don't love their SO.

I love my boyfriend a lot. I see us getting married in the future even. But if I didn't vent every so often I'd go crazy. I love him to death but he drives me crazy sometimes. And I need to "bitch" as you say.

I'm sorry your SO is dying, and I think it's fantastic that you're cherishing each moment with him! I haven't seen a lot of husband bashing on here, especially not on controversy corner. I think you're right though, it's important to love and be kind to our SO's even when they're not going to hear what we're saying. Some women genuinely need advice about their SO, others need advice, they just don't know how to ask for it kindly. Also, some women who are struggling with their SO don't want to leave him, they just want to understand how to fix what's going on.
My point is, we never know the full situation. I think it's important to give advice to those who ask for it when we have valid advice. Or to kindly keep scrolling if we have nothing  to say.

It be better to complain to him than congregate a bitch fest but hey we need a sounding board!

I am sorry you and you're SO are going through that. I couldn't imagine having to go through what you are going through. That being said, not every relationship is perfect, some are more work than others. That doesn't necessarily mean you just leave your SO and it doesn't mean you just grin and bare everything. Some women post to gain insight from other ladies that may have gone through similar situations and some do it simply because they feel like they need to vent, kind of like you did when you felt the need to create a post on your post being removed and then reposting the first topic ...twice. People need to vent, some more than others. We're only human after all.

There are times when I just want to rant and complain about my SO but honestly I find for me it works a lot better if I just let myself calm down and then talk to him about it instead of it continuing on and just getting upset all the time. Sometimes those talks suck but if I spent all that time complaining it only doubles how riled up I and gives him no chance to rectify it. Some people though use the venting as a way to calm themselves about a situation and then they can come to a fix more rationally. Everyone deals with stuff a little differently.

Some people just need to vent. No one is perfect, we all get upset from time to time whether we love someone or not. It's unhealthy to bottle up feelings. & women don't "always" complain in my opinion.
