Do you like your SO's family?

I love my SO's mom, grandma and youngest brother. I haven't spent much time with them, but his mother is very understanding when I say no to meeting more of his family (social anxiety, meeting new people is terrifying). I'm guessing three boys on the spectrum and one with anxiety issues will do that. I haven't spent much time with the middle brother or his dad, but they seemed very nice when I met them, I get nervous around his dad though (most adult men make me nervous due to past issues). I feel so lucky when I listen to my friend rant about her SO's mom. She does not like her at all. She once sent me a 20+ text rant, and said if it wasn't for her SO she would never put up with this woman. She loves his siblings though, and seems to like his dad. I was just curious how other people felt.
