very curious

So I may sound crazy even saying this but I have 2 dogs, a puppy dachshund and a 9-10 yr old chihuahua. I swear when I told them they were gonna have a baby brother or sister and rubbed my tummy, I swear they understood 😂 the chi got all excited then put a paw on my tummy 😂 she came and gave me kisses! And my dachshund stopped jumping on my tummy and decided to somewhat do the same but she rolled onto my stomach for a moment and then came and gave me kisses! Mind that's not how they always act 😂

Did they really understand me!? 😂 or am I just overly shocked?
