New technology opens door for artificial wombs. Would this be a win for women’s health?

I’m of the impression that this would be a win for everyone. If a mother wishes to not be pregnant they could get rid of the fetus and it could be given to someone in an artificial womb to grow til birth.

It could save a lot of premature babies. But it's not able to grow a baby from egg and sperm

i would have loved something like this to have been available when i had my son at 24+2... he only survived 12 days 😓 this could save so many babies and reduce problems alot of surviving preemies have too

I read an article a few months ago about this and doesn't the baby have to be at least 20 weeks before they can even do this? Or has there been an update since then?

If it's meant to save babies who are premature then I guess that sounds pretty cool. But I wonder how that would effect the baby. What about maternal bonding? (Also called mother fetal bonding) I feel like it's crucial to the babies health and nurturing the child to be physically bonded and growing inside the mother.
