Extremely Sensitive Nipple

This morning I woke up and my right nipple was extremely sensitive. The area around the nipple was sensitive as well. It's swollen and red, hurts just to touch. My period ended 11 days ago. I've never had this pain in my nipple before. I took a pregnancy test two weeks ago and it was negative. If it's only one nipple could it be a sign of pregnancy?
