Who's fault is it?
So all of this originally happened in 2013, but the video showing the events was just released which is why it's came back up.
Basically a 16 year old boy, who was trying to enter the US was stopped by customs because he was carrying two jugs of liquid. When they had asked them what it was, he claimed that it was just juice, but in reality it was liquid meth. The agents suspected it was drugs, and asked him to drink it. The boy, knowing exactly what it was, drank the "juice" in front of them, taking just 4 sips to try and pass it off. He then continued to chat with them and smile, but a few minutes later the boy started to sweat and scream in pain, to which customs contained him and later brought him to a hospital, where he died hours after. The family basically filed a lawsuit against customs saying that they suspected the juice was drugs, and still asked him to take a drink and prove it was juice, and then them containing him instead of getting medical help first is another reason he died.
But no where at all did they force him to drink it, they just asked him to drink it, and the boy could have easily just gave himself up and said what it really was, but risked and eventually took his own life by drinking it. He knew it was liquid meth and knew how dangerous it was, and still drank it. I agree they should have probably got him medical attention a little sooner, but they probably didn't think the situation was that bad and that he would die from it.
Based on all this information, who do you think was at fault for the boys death?
